I watch because I like seeing the out doors and I like seeing work. I used to live in Alaska, and as a kid, I would break ice dams in ditches so that spring melt could run off and not flood driveways... It was fun. I live in Texas now, and I have a desk job. There is no out doors really, and no reason to do manual labor out there really. So I watch others. It's cathartic, vicariously.

What's up with these beavers? They need some trappers in there because those beavers don't play. It's not even that the beavers are trying to rebuild the dam, it's that they did, and the dam is structurally sound. The next question that I would have is the number of beavers involved. This dam would be my white whale and we would have to see who gets tired first. It makes for a great video either way.

I would love to see what it looks like a week later. We used to trap beavers a lot as a kid growing up we always heard of “beaver fever”. That is an intestinal parasite, Giardia, that comes from beaver excrement in the water. I know that you aren’t drinking it. You can still get it by being splashed in the eyes with water, having your mouth open while working on the damn. It sounds gross and it is, please be very careful, it is nothing you want to deal with. Really enjoy the videos.

Wow, that was about the most wackado thing I've seen in some time. Definitely not the USA or there would be 2-3 federal agencies and a couple helicopters all over this place. I'm not sure why, especially for such a little pond, that they didn't just make a siphon or at most a pump. A real Keystone Cop kind of moment. Mantas, don't worry about the negative comments. I'm one of the og's when you had around 100 subscribers. You do fantastic work and great content and for those with the negative comments I don't see you stepping up to do something like this and don't come with well we haven't any beavers where I live. What he is doing is conservation. But some of you people won't understand that.

You must get a little frustrated with the persistence of the beavers!! If you get enough subscribers and followers you may be able to buy an excavator to speed up your work. BUT maybe your followers prefer to see you work so hard etc KEEP up the hard work I am watching you.
